My background spans agencies, startups, and in-house product teams in Berlin and New York.

This mix has given me a wide lens on how products actually get built (and where they break). I’m most effective in environments with competing constraints, multiple stakeholders, and highly regulated workflows. That’s where I can translate messy inputs into structured thinking, clear communication, and tangible product direction.

I’m often brought in when things feel unclear or scattered. I help teams sort through the noise, agree on what matters, and move forward with confidence. Sometimes that’s strategy, sometimes research, sometimes systems work, sometimes design, usually a mix of all of it.

Freelance

Product Designer & Creative Consultant

Berlin & Remote, 2019 – Current

I support teams across wellness, healthcare, greentech, and SaaS on early-stage and established products, focusing on product direction, UX strategy, and user research. My work spans discovery, research synthesis, and experience design: often stepping in to bring structure and momentum as products evolve or scale. This includes improving onboarding, clarifying complex flows, and building scalable design foundations.

NAVIT

Product Designer → Senior Product Designer

Berlin, 2023 – 2025

I led research and product improvements that raised NPS (22.7 → 44.0), improved App Store ratings (3.1 → 4.8), and reduced support volume across key workflows. I also initiated NAVIT’s design system and redesigned regulated product areas to improve clarity and usability.

FORMEL Skin

Senior UX/UI Designer

Berlin, 2022 – 2023

I co-led experimentation and onboarding improvements that lifted conversion by 11% and reduced churn by 12%. I also partnered with engineering to build a structured style guide that improved consistency and delivery speed.

Wunderman Thompson, WPP

Design Director

New York City, 2017 – 2019

I led creative work across multiple drug indications, shaping educational tools and supporting major product launches. Working within FDA-regulated environments strengthened my ability to simplify complexity and align diverse stakeholders: foundations for my product work today.

Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis Groupe

Art Director → Senior Art Director

New York City, 2014 – 2017

I led design for global healthcare launches and digital tools, navigating strict regulatory workflows. These years built my skills in stakeholder alignment, systems thinking, and leading creative teams.

Leibowitz Branding & Design

Graphic Designer → Art Director

New York City, 2007 – 2014

I created brand systems for clients across healthcare, finance, and telecom. Notably, I restructured TIAA’s collateral system from 366 fragmented pieces into 29 scalable templates, an early lesson in design systems and operational clarity.

I was born and raised in Venezuela, lived for many years in the U.S., and now call Germany home. Outside of work, I’m a long-distance runner (eight marathons and counting), a thru-hike fan, and someone who loves learning new crafts. These things teach me patience, adaptability, and a steady, long-view approach, the same way I show up in my work.
